Are you interested in learning about flavored milk consumption and weight gain in children? Do you wonder if water promotion decreases sugary drink consumption? Please join us for our November Professional Development Meeting on Tuesday, November 13th 2018to hear Dr. Sepideh Dibary speak about the research in flavored beverages in children and adolescents.

Join your local nutrition professionals for great conversation, a delicious meal, and to earn 2 CPEUs.

Become a member of NSDA for 2018-2019 year, and tell friends and colleagues.
Membership allows you to attend dinner and 5 educational seminars (eligible for 2 CPEUs each). If you miss a meeting, you will be able to download a recording and handouts for self-study credit. This will be available for all members in June.

About the November 13th Speaker:
Dr. Sepideh Dibay earned her Master of Public Health and PhD in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Washington. Her primary research interests are dietary behaviors and patterns, obesity prevention, and health disparities. Dr. Dibay is a Developing Data-Driven
Cancer Researchers fellow and a Biobehavioral Cancer Prevention and Control Training post-doctoral affiliate at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington School of Public Health, focusing on cancer prevention through obesity prevention and dietary behaviors. She is also interested in applying her research findings to health policy and is currently a consultant for Healthy Food America, where she collaborates with other researchers to conduct review studies to advocate for health policies. She is an adjunct faculty at Bellevue College where she designed and teaches several classes in the Health Promotion and Management Program. Her hobbies include playing the santour (Iranian dulcimer), riding her motorcycle and spending time outdoors.
