Ginger Hultin, DCN, RDN, CSO
Ginger Hultin is a Seattle-based registered dietitian and owner of Ginger Hultin Nutrition, a virtual practice focused on integrative oncology, gastrointestinal, and autoimmune nutrition care. She serves as Nutrition Clinic Coordinator and adjunct faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, training students and interns in clinical practice. A board-certified specialist in oncology nutrition, Hultin holds a Master’s in Nutrition from Bastyr University and a Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition from the University of North Florida.

Jacqueline Little, MS, RD, CD
 
  Chef Jacqui Little is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in weight management and low carbohydrate nutrition. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh. She also has an Associate of Science degree in Culinary of Arts from the Art Institute of California.
She is passionate about nutrition, cooking, recipe development and fitness. Having had a weight problem throughout her childhood and adolescence, she cares deeply about helping others reach their weight loss goals.

Julie Larsen, PhD, RD, RCEP
Julie earned her PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at WSU Spokane where she currently works as an Associate Professor. She also volunteers with Special Olympics Washington as a Health Promotion Clinical Director and has served on the Greater Spokane Dietetics Association board for several years in various capacities. Julie enjoys gardening, hiking, and camping.

Taylor Singleton, MS, RD, CD


Taylor is a Clinical Nutrition Manager based in Bellingham, WA. In her role, she is passionate about nutrition informatics, inspiring dietitians to pursue leadership opportunities, and advocating for the role of registered dietitians in operational healthcare management. In her free time, Taylor enjoys running, ceramics, cooking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her fiancé and her dog.
Treasurer
Jennie Norton, MS, RDN, CD
  Jennie is an RDN with almost 20 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors - video store retail, grocery and frozen food retail, and school nutrition. She is currently supporting renal patients as the Clinical Dietitian at the DaVita Dialysis Clinic in Tacoma. She collects vintage cookbooks, cats, and educational experiences. On the weekends, you can find her dancing at Zumba class, providing telehealth nutrition counseling with Nourish, food prepping for the week, and exploring Tacoma with her teen son and his boyfriend.

Megan Houchin,
MS, RDN, CD

 

Megan is the lead dietitian for Providence PACE WA & CA. She holds a Master’s in Human Nutrition from Marywood University with a thesis focused on Age-Related Macular Degeneration. She also received her Bachelor’s in Food and Nutritional Science from Seattle Pacific and attended culinary school at The Art Institute of Seattle. Megan is a native of Montana but has been in the Pacific Northwest since 2010. She resides in Lynnwood with her husband David and rescue terrier Banjo.

Melissa Molloy, MS, RDN, CD

 

 

Melissa is the Manager of Clinical Nutrition and Patient Services at Valley Medical Center, the first recipient of the Center of Excellence in Nutrition & Dietetics. She has worked in outpatient, food management, recipe analysis, and clinical. In her spare time, she enjoys training for half-marathons, triathlons, and going on hikes with her dog.

Cathy Visser, MPH, RDN, CD


Cathy is a HAES-informed, non-diet dietitian and owner of True for You Nutrition, LLC. She has an office in Olympia, WA and meets with clients via telehealth. She is passionate about helping clients learn to live the principles of Intuitive Eating, and she guides clients who are healing from eating disorders. Cathy is passionate about cooking and teaching others how to cook and eat for sound nutrition and pleasure.

Angel Planells, MS, RDN, CD, FAND, is a nationally recognized registered dietitian nutritionist and the founder of ACF Nutrition. With over two decades of experience, he specializes in men’s health, sports nutrition, weight management, and geriatric nutrition. Angel uses a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help clients build sustainable, healthy relationships with food.
As a National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Angel frequently shares practical nutrition advice in major outlets like CNN, USA Today, and U.S. News & World Report.
Angel holds master’s degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND), dedicating his career to empowering individuals to optimize their health and achieve lasting wellness.

Ashley Judson, MS, RDN, CD, CSDH

 

Ashley Judson, MS, RD is a registered dietitian specializing in digestive health and the founder of Ashley Judson Nutrition, LLC, a virtual private practice established in April 2025. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master’s degree in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She completed her dietetic internship at Bastyr University, where she developed a strong foundation in integrative, patient-centered care. Ashley began her career as an outpatient dietitian, working closely with individuals managing complex gastrointestinal conditions. Through this experience, she developed a passion for helping clients better understand their symptoms and feel more confident in their nutrition choices. In her private practice, she partners with clients to create practical, sustainable strategies that support both digestive health and overall well-being. Additionally, she serves as a board member of the Diet and Nutrition Section of the Rome Foundation. Outside of her work, she enjoys exploring global cultures through travel and food, reading, and tending to her rooftop garden.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.

This year, we hope to create more opportunities for collaboration, professional engagement, and meaningful connections at both the state and district levels. As our profession continues to evolve locally and nationally, we remain committed to supporting our members through education, advocacy, and community.
