Nicole Stendell-Hollis is an Associate Professor at Central Washington University. She conducts research focusing on childhood and adult obesity prevention, with current research evaluating the effectiveness of a large Corporate Wellness Program overseen by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist on employee health outcomes. She is the mother of two daughters and loves living in the PNW! |

Meghan works as the Prevention Center Administrator at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, which supports population-based prevention research implementing nutrition and exercise interventions. Meghan has ten years of experience in nonprofit and business sectors, and is an advocate for evidence-based healthcare and health systems policies. She lives in Seattle with her husband and two energetic kids, and runs competitively on the side to keep up her stamina for the adventures of life. |

Melissa is the Manager of Clinical Nutrition and Dietary Services at Valley Medical Center. She has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, food management, recipe analysis, and clinical. Melissa graduated from Michigan State for her bachelor's and Eastern Illinois for her Master's. Looking forward to keeping everyone in the loop on all our great happenings. |

Julie earned her PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at WSU Spokane where she currently works as an Assistant Professor. She also volunteers with Special Olympics Washington as a Health Promotion Clinical Director and has served on the GSDA board for several years in various capacities. Julie enjoys gardening, hiking, and camping. |

Kira Heartwick is an Army Reserve dietitian, currently working as a Research Coordinator in the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic at Madigan Army Medical Center. She is the lead investigator on a randomized controlled trial investigating maternal intake of added sugar and refined carbohydrate on pregnancy related outcomes. Kira obtained her B.S. in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University, and completed the Army - Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition and dietetic internship in 2016. |

Heather is the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Providence Infusion and Pharmacy in Spokane, WA leading a group of home infusion RDs. She has worked in various settings, including acute care and public relations, but has found her passion and calling in home infusion. Heather graduated from Purdue University in 2002 with a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and then went back to school (again at Purdue!) to study Dietetics (class of 2014). She enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, warm summer nights and of course, volunteering for our profession. She is looking forward to the year ahead and engaging as many members as possible! |

Ginger Hultin owns Seattle-based concierge nutrition practices, Champagne Nutrition® PLLC and Seattle Cancer Nutritionist where she helps clients solve complex health mysteries with an integrative approach. She specializes in vegetarian/ diets, integrative oncology nutrition, supplements, and nutrigenomics. Ginger also enjoys talking to dietitians about professional development, improved communication, and social media strategy. Ginger currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She is the Chair of the Member and Student Advisory Committee at the Academy, immediate past-president of the Greater Seattle Dietetic Association, past President for the Chicago Academy and past chair of the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. She was awarded Emerging Dietetic Leader in Washington, 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and Bastyr University. |

Brittany works as a WIC Program Monitor for the Department of Health, also contributing to the Health Equity Workgroup and Outreach Task Force. Brittany has been in public health nutrition for 10 years and has worked for government for the past 5 years. Most of her career experience is with WIC, both in Colorado and now Washington. She has developed a passion for nutrition & agricultural policy, engaging in legislative education and advocacy whenever possible. In her free time, Brittany enjoys being outside and active with her dog; favorite activities include backpacking, hiking, running, yoga, gardening and kayaking. |

Allie is a Spokane native, a graduate of Seattle Pacific University, and currently lives and works in the Seattle area with Washington local pride. With the Greater Seattle Dietetic Association (GSDA) student representative leadership role as her launching point, Allie has enjoyed serving on many Academy leadership boards including: the Idaho Academy on their annual conference planning committee, the Colorado Academy as their Member Benefits Chair and the GSDA as their PR and Marketing Chair. |
