Nutrition Network Announcement

Dear Colleague,

If you provide nutrition services to children and youth with special health care needs in Washington state, you are cordially invited to apply for our 2-day Nutrition Network Training.

2-Day Nutrition Network Training Registration Now Open
Registration is now open, please spread the word among your colleagues who might be interested in joining the Nutrition Network. Tentative agenda is attached.

When:  Tuesday, January 26th & February 2nd, 2027, 8 am - 4:30 pm (full participation expected)
Where: Zoom
Who:   RD's who see children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) in WA state who are not yet members of the Nutrition Network
What:  After completing this 2-day training, RDN's become a member of the Washington State Nutrition Network for CYSHCN

• Nutrition Network is supported by the Washington State Department of Health and the University of Washington Institute of Human Development & Disability
• Members get added to a listserv where they receive updates on nutrition resources for CYSHCN
• Invitation to attend annual continuing education events
• Opportunities to participate in statewide surveys to inform Department of Health of gaps and needs in nutrition for CYSHCN
