4th Annual Nutrition First Spring Nutrition Conference – Get Up and Go with 5-2-1-0!

Join us to experience a dynamic educational opportunity! Gain access to new trends, science based results, perspectives from expert speakers and applications that you can apply to practice right away. This annual event brings together speakers to present current public health nutrition topics, focusing primarily on pre-natal through age 5. The 2017 conference will feature research and health strategies from the 5-2-1-0 program, an obesity prevention program developed in Maine This is a great opportunity to network and collaborate with others working to promote healthy nutrition and lifestyle messages to young children and families.

Who should attend? Registered Dietitians, WIC staff, Early Learning Providers, Child Care Providers, Health Promotion staff, Public Health Workers, Public Health Nurses, and anyone else interested in helping to promote practical and research based public health messages.

Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.

This year, we hope to create more opportunities for collaboration, professional engagement, and meaningful connections at both the state and district levels. As our profession continues to evolve locally and nationally, we remain committed to supporting our members through education, advocacy, and community.
