Dont miss this teleseminar presentation of the new publication Choose Your Foods: Exchange Lists for Diabetes by two of its co-authors. Introduced at the 2007 FNCE, this publication replaces previous exchange lists. Learn how to use this easy to follow graphic meal planning tool for patient/client education, which was collaboratively developed by ADA and the American Diabetes Association. Practical guidelines including a discussion of partially metabolized fiber and sugar alcohols, the new alcohol list, healthy eating options, favorite ethnic and regional foods, restaurant meal suggestions and combination foods as well as meal planning and physical activity, will be highlighted, and each site will receive a free copy.
