Using Motivational Interviewing To Improve Nutrition Counseling & Patient Education

Saturday May 18, 2019 from 10am - 12 pm

at the Phinney Neighborhood Association

Join us for an interactive workshop led by local dietitian, Lauren Rice, on motivational interviewing and practice applying counseling skills. Review of a case study, Q&A and open case study discussion for people who have questions about particular patient scenarios.

About the Speaker: Lauren Rice, MPH, RD, CD is a clinical dietitian specializing in adolescent health & wellness and eating disorder nutrition counseling. She works for Seattle Children's Hospital. She is also a spinning instructor, self-care advocate, podcaster, and life-long learner. Lauren's podcast is called The Three Aminos Podcast: Real Nutrition for Real People.
