Megan Ellison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management, and Certified Diabetes Educator. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutritional Sciences from Seattle Pacific University in 2009 and her Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetics from the State University of New York in 2010. She is currently the owner of Sound Dietitians, LLC as well as an Outpatient Clinical Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Swedish Edmonds Hospital.

Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.
