Join us at Noon Pacific!

We are confronted with ethical dilemmas everyday in our personal and professional lives. Sometimes these situations are areas of moral clarity where right and wrong seem obvious. In most instances, however, we live in a grey area, and the “right” course of action is not always clear. When we do suspect that ethical standards have been breached and/or the public has potentially been harmed, what is our next course of action? In this webinar, Washington State Consumer Protection Coordinator, Elizabeth Abbey, PhD, RDN, CDN will review our ethical responsibilities as RDNs and also highlight a new tool for reporting suspected adverse events.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
• Describe the different categories in the RDNs professional Code of Ethics
• Identify ethical issues in case scenarios and determine appropriate courses of action
• Become familiar with when and how to report adverse events

Speaker: Elizabeth L. Abbey, PhD, RDN, CDN

We anticipate that this webinar will be approved for 1 hour CPEU.
