Details:
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2020-2021 academic year. Scholarships are available for students at all levels of study, including undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs, dietetic internships, and NDTR programs and range from $500 to $10,000 each.

In order to meet the needs of students and educators, the deadline to apply for scholarships has been extended to June 15, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time). The total amount and number of Foundation scholarships awarded each year is determined by fundraising efforts and investment returns on scholarship funds. Last year, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation awarded $511,750 to 239 deserving students.

The online scholarship application is available within the Foundation’s application portal. Due to the Foundation electing to extend the scholarship deadline and the large volume of applications received, students will not receive their scholarship notifications until after the 2020-2021 academic year has begun.

Any questions may be directed to Elisha Reichling, MS, RDN, LDN, Foundation Program Coordinator, at ereichling@eatright.org.

Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.

This year, we hope to create more opportunities for collaboration, professional engagement, and meaningful connections at both the state and district levels. As our profession continues to evolve locally and nationally, we remain committed to supporting our members through education, advocacy, and community.

Please stay connected through our website, social media, and monthly e-blasts for updates, events, and opportunities to get involved. I am honored to serve in this role and look forward to working alongside all of you this year.
