Fall Conference

Friday, September 26th – Saturday, September 27th, 2014
The Icicle Inn, Leavenworth, WA

Conference Scope
Each year, the Fall Conference attracts approximately 75-100 Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, Registered, Dietary Managers, and students. Participants expand their education, network with colleagues, and sample new products pertinent to their work while earning valuable continuing education credits.

Abstract Invitation
Share your knowledge with other industry professionals at this year’s event. Our two-day conference typically consists of topics related to:
• General professional development
• Food safety and sanitation
• Medical nutrition therapy
• Employee management tactics
• Emergency planning
• Culinary tips
• Dysphagia
• Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition
• Budget and cost controls
• Leadership
• Fine dining and culture change
• Fortified foods

We are currently accepting abstracts for presentations from individuals, corporations, and organizations for this conference. Individual or team proposals will be accepted for sessions that run one to three hours in length. Presentation selections will be made based upon desired topics, flow of content, educational value and understanding of the content. The Conference Planning Committee will work with speakers to schedule the specific time for each presentation, in order to optimize the sequencing and flow of content and tracks.

Honorarium and other reimbursements can be provided and will be negotiated on an individual basis with the Conference Planning Committee.

Abstract submission deadline – April 15th, 2014
Notice of abstract acceptance – May 1st, 2014
Presentation & Speaker details deadline – June 15th, 2014
Conference registration opens – August 15th, 2014
Presentation slides requested by – September 1st, 2014

Exhibitor space will be available at the Vendor Fair on Friday, September 26th for any promotional activity at the rate of $175 per table.
