*New 2-day workshop*
This interactive workshop will build upon basic skills (e.g., expressing empathy, rolling with resistance, exploring ambivalence, eliciting change talk) and introduce more advanced techniques. Methods for continued self-evaluation and development will be introduced and practiced.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.
