Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
Identify the overall health impacts associated with the industrialized food system, with a focus on maternal and child health, as well as ecological health
Describe the specific health impacts associated with pesticides, antibiotics, and other contaminants in the food supply
Communicate more effectively to patients and their families about the health impacts of the industrialized food system and how to limit exposures to pesticides, antibiotics, and other food contaminants in ways that are appropriate for different patient populations
