The Clinical Dietitian works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health care team to provide medical nutrition therapy that promotes wellness, maintains current health, and/or intervenes in acute or chronic illness through evidence-based practices for hospitalized and outpatient populations. The incumbent assesses patients needs, makes and/or revises individualized care plans, provides education and documents actions in compliance with all regulatory and organization standards for a diverse patient population, which may include patients requiring enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets, based on the patients' health care needs.
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university
Registered Dietitian Credential (CDR) with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Two (2) years clinical dietetics experience preferred
Registered member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
