Position Description:
Chicken Soup Brigade (CSB) is Lifelong’s food and nutrition program, providing medically tailored meals, culturally relevant groceries, and nutritional counseling & education to community members facing illness and injustice. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will support CSB clients through individualized nutrition counseling/Medical Nutrition Therapy. They will also provide practical skill-building experiences to clients via cooking demonstrations, grocery store tours, and group classes to increase self-efficacy around eating a healthy diet.

The RDN will support the Medically Tailored Meal program through meal nutrient analysis, ensuring that meals meet meal nutrition standards. The Registered Dietitian will support Lifelong meal and grocery programs by assisting with the development of nutrition policies that guides the work and direction of the program.

This regular, full-time, non-exempt, union role may be based in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle or in Everett, with onsite presence required 08:30AM - 5PM Monday - Friday for the duration of the introductory period. Following a successful 180 days of employment, the position may be hybrid-remote with the expectation to be on-site at either our Georgetown or Everett office at least three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).
