Enhance your awareness of the potential for interactions between commonly prescribed medications and popular dietary supplements. Within this framework, the pharmacological basis for drug interactions with selected dietary supplements and the potential positive and/or negative clinical implications of those interactions will be explored. The presenter will also look at drug-induced nutrient depletion and the possible benefits of specific nutrient supplementation with certain drugs or drug classes.
