Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
1. Describe HIV Epidemiology, Prevention, Risk Assessment, Testing and Counseling.
2. Recognize Medication Classification for treatment of HIV/AIDS
3. Understanding Medication Sequencing.
4. Understand and Implement Cultural Relevant Approaches in HIV Care
5. Understand DHS Recommendations and Utilization of Genotypes
6. Define HIV/AIDS Psychological Issues and Develop Resolutions
7. Participate in HIV Primary, Secondary Tertiary Prevention/Management in the Healthcare Setting
8. Discuss Prevention and Management of HIV in the Health Care Setting
9. Detect Oral HIV/AIDS Manifestations, Treatment and/or Refer
10. Understand Medical, Psychosocial & Cognitive Issues of Adolescents with HIV/AIDS
