ADA/ADAF Awards & Honors Deadline

  • Event
  • Monday, March 02, 2009
Details:
The Honors Committee needs your assistance in identifying members who have provided significant contributions to the dietetics profession.
The honors committee is looking to you to nominate a diverse group of qualified candidates for Association awards and honors. Look not only at the traditional pool of candidates (past ADA/F presidents, state and DPG board members), but at individuals and colleagues who have advanced the profession and who have exhibited leadership in less traditional ways (leadership in other food/nutrition associations, outstanding research and/or publications, service to government agencies or nutrition-related organizations).
The awards and honors nomination information is available on the website. All nominations must be mailed to: ADA Awards and Honors Program, American Dietetic Association, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995. Nominations must be postmarked no later than March 2, 2009. Any nominations received after that date will not be considered. The Honors Packet Instruction Sheet is included in the packet and should assist you in completing the award nomination forms.
The Honors Committee appreciates your participation in the ADA awards and honors program. This is an important way to recognize excellence within our profession---we look forward to receiving your nominations for 2009!

Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.

This year, we hope to create more opportunities for collaboration, professional engagement, and meaningful connections at both the state and district levels. As our profession continues to evolve locally and nationally, we remain committed to supporting our members through education, advocacy, and community.

Please stay connected through our website, social media, and monthly e-blasts for updates, events, and opportunities to get involved. I am honored to serve in this role and look forward to working alongside all of you this year.
