Academy Foundation Scholarship Applications Accepted

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation 's scholarship application for the 2021-2022 academic year is open. Students at all levels of study are eligible to apply, including those in dietetic technician, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, as well as dietetic internships.

Eligible applicants will be considered for hundreds* of Foundation scholarship opportunities, ranging from $500 to $10,000 each, including scholarships for ethnically diverse students and dietetic interns. Last year, the Foundation awarded a total of $620,300 to 261 deserving students.

The electronic scholarship application is available within the Foundation’s Application Portal. The deadline for all components of the scholarship application is Monday, April 19, 2021 at 5:00 pm (Central Time). Emailed and hard-copy application materials will not be accepted. All scholarship applicants will be notified in late July 2021.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year! As we look ahead, my focus is on strengthening the organizational structure of our Academy, supporting modernization and innovation within the field of dietetics, and fostering a strong, connected community of nutrition professionals across Washington.

This year, we hope to create more opportunities for collaboration, professional engagement, and meaningful connections at both the state and district levels. As our profession continues to evolve locally and nationally, we remain committed to supporting our members through education, advocacy, and community.
