GSDA Fall Meeting: "Feet, Forks & the Fate of our Families"
The GSDA Fall Meeting will be a video presentation followed by a directed discussion. Dr. Katz will discuss the weight of the evidence for basic recommendations for your patients. He will highlight lifestyle as medicine and provide resources for use by healthcare practitioners.

Speaker: . MD, MPH, FACPM, FACP, is the founding (1998) director of Yale University’s Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center. He received his BA from Dartmouth College (1984; Magna Cum Laude); his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (1988); and his MPH from the Yale University School of Public Health (1993). He is a two-time diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a board-certified specialist in Preventive Medicine/Public Health, and a clinical instructor in medicine at the Yale School of Medicine
When: Wednesday, October 22nd at 6-7:30 pm
Where: WSU Spokane Campus. Academic Center Building, Room 147
Parking: There's limited metered parking in the orange lot (on north side of Academic Center) or a pay kiosk for slots in the yellow lot across the street (northeast from Academic Center).
NOTE! WSU Students who are not GSDA members may attend this GSDA meeting at No Cost!

Remember, there are 2 continuing education credits available for GSDA meetings.
The presentation is free of charge to GSDA members and student members.
Non-GSDA members may attend all meetings ( just pay $15.00 ($5.00 for students) to attend the meeting and obtain CEUs).
AND members can join GSDA prior to the meeting for the annual membership fee of $25.00.
Your membership helps support our local group activities including speakers, scholarships, National Nutrition Month®, and quarterly newsletters.
