Position Description

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Coordinator Senior serves as the lead person responsible for EFNEP in Clark County. The position’s main responsibilities include paraprofessional educator supervision, maintaining community partner relationships and policy system and environmental change implementation to support healthy lifestyles. This position uses independent judgment to organize, coordinate, and evaluate EFNEP programming.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant extension program discipline and three (3) years of related program experience. A Masters degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Must have reliable transportation and current automobile insurance and possess a valid driver's license.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s in Nutrition or Public Health
Registered Dietitian (RDN)
2 years supervisory experience with paraprofessional staff
Bilingual in Spanish and English
