Position Description

PeaceHealth has a unique position open for a Dietitian II in a small inpatient setting with the critical care access hospital. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating all aspects of nutrition care, and will be able to work independently. You will work daily with outpatients seen at the North Puget Oncology Center, located on campus, which has oncology and radiation services, and has the ability to schedule community outpatients referred by area physicians.

Minimum Qualifications

A successful Dietitian II must have the following qualifications…
• Bachelor degree meeting Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) requirements
• Three years in a related setting as a Registered Dietitian
• Current licensure/certification as required by State.
• Registered Dietitian Current Medicare provider status number may be required.
• Certified Diabetes Educator, or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, or Board Certified Specialist

• Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including: nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation and follow up of outcomes.
• Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines to provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
