Position Description

The Dietitian 2 is part of the multi-disciplinary ambulatory care team, providing nutritional care to Harborview’s patients. Dietitians perform nutrition assessment, education and medical nutrition therapy and/or directs others in professional administrative dietetic services. The Dietitian participates in quality improvement, professional development, and education of other healthcare professionals. The Dietitian complies with regulatory laws, regulations and HMC scope of practice.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with major in Dietetics, Foods & Nutrition or Food Service Administration; completion of Dietetic Association approved dietetic education program; registered Dietitian status.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

Desired Qualifications

24 months recent full-time experience working as a Registered Dietitian; Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other medical-related field
