MANAGER IN TRAINING
Our MIT Program is about growing your future with TCM; it allows you the opportunity to earn a salary, while learning exceptional management skills. You must be re-locatable after the 3-9 month training program, with relocation assistance provided by TCM.
Responsibilities of the Dietetic Technician (DTR) in Patient Services:
1.) Analyze menus and recipes for nutritional value, and test new products.
2.) Supervise food production and service, or assist dietitian in food service supervision and planning.
3.) Determine food, beverage, and supplement costs and assist in implementing cost control procedures.
4.) Develop job specifications, job descriptions, and work schedules.
5.) Conduct tray accuracy and presentation audits
6.) Select, schedule, and conduct orientation and in-service education programs.
7.) Collection of menus, food tolerances and preferences
8.) Perform process improvement initiatives to ensure high quality service and product
9.) Use foodservice nutritional software programs to perform meal service functions
10.) All services provided within scope of practice of dietetic technicians as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
