In addition to our meeting, owner Carolyn Lattin will speak about her farm-growing techniques, producing vegetables, making cider, raising animals, etc., We will also be able to wander through the fields to check out all the seasonal produce they are currently growing. All OADA members who attend will receive a cup of cider and a doughnut. Apple fritters and apple cider slushies can be purchased individually for a few dollars each.

Annual 2-day Fall Conference by Washington Assoc for Food and Nutrition Professionals & Washington Dietetics in Health Care Communities

Please join the Washington Association for Food and Nutrition Professionals and Washington Dietetics in Health Care Communities at the beautiful Semihamoo Resort in Blaine, Wa for our annual 2-day fall conference. We are excited to feature Carol Ireton-Jones, PhD. RDN, LD, CNSC, FASPEN, FAND discussing IBS and the Low FODMAP diet, Suzanne Quiring, CDM, RDN discussing resident-directed dining, Laura Andromalos, MS, RD, CD, CDE helping us unravel the complexity of bariatric surgery, and Janice Duivestein, BSR OT/PT, MRSc discussing the new dysphagia diet changes from the IDDSI as well as many more wonderful speakers. Participants are eligible for 11 CEUs! Members of WA-ANFP and WA-DHCC receive a discount and annual memberships are very affordable and come with fantastic benefits! The conference is scheduled for September 15-16th, 2017 and registration is due September 1st, 2017. Discounted hotel rooms available for a limited time.
